This type of switch is # 18 in my outline

of 24 variations of ALPS switches and clones.

These TAIWAN KEYSWITCHES are LOW CLICKY, MODERATELY TACTILE,

and HIGHLY LINEAR. They are used, but in excellent condition. They

can be installed in any keyboard that uses ALPS switches. These are

genuine TAIWAN WHITE switches, and are standard for the Apple IIgs

keyboards, model # 0330, made in Taiwan by Forward Electronics Co.,

with the full approval of Apple. If your IIgs keyboard was made

in TAIWAN, and if your keycaps have BLACK plastic bottom, then

this is the switch you need! The keyswitches made in Japan vs. those

made in Taiwan have slightly different height, so it is important to get

switches that match others that are already mounted on your keyboard.

There is also a GREEN version of this identical Taiwan keyswitch,

which I will sell as a same-price option in this Ebay ad.

The "push-on, push-off" specialized switch for the "caps-lock" is

rare, and it counts as TWO switches. This key switch is often out-

of-stock, so ask in advance before including "push-on, push-off"

in your purchase. This applies equally to all ALPS keyswitch

categories, including TAIWAN-WHITE or TAIWAN-GREEN.

Every keyswitch has been tested with an ohmmeter, and

is confirmed working. Every switch has been lightly

lubricated with MAX-PRO, an electronics lubricant that

is specialized for switches. (Max-Pro also works great

on audio amplifier switches, and on car switches, too! )

These TAIWAN WHITE keyswitches were collected

from an Apple IIgs # 0330 keyboard, made in Taiwan.

In my three-page handout on the 24 variations of

ALPS keyswitches, this TAIWAN-WHITE switch is

# 18. The similar switch, TAIWAN-GREEN, is # 17

on that paper handout. Both versions of the Taiwan

keyswitches were made in Taiwan by Forward Electronics

Co., and these Taiwan products are fully approved by

by Apple Computer Co.
