“The Enterprise 64 was announced in 1983 as the "Elan" but was delayed for two years. By the time it launched in 1985, the market was already dominated by the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum, and BBC Micro .Because of this, the computer was a commercial flop in the UK . The majority of its remaining, unsold stock was sold to Eastern European countries, particularly Hungary, where it developed a dedicated fan base.”
