Multiple Cavity Integrated Circuit

Up for sale is a rare and very unusual gold and ceramic chip of unknown function. This chip has a complicated and unique construction, with four small leadless carriers with gold lids that have been bonded to a hybrid ceramic carrier. The chip has no markings, but was almost certainly produced for use in an Amdahl supercomputer based on its shape and construction style. The chip appears to be used, and has some surface wear on the gold heat spreaders as shown in the photo. The bottom leads look to be in good condition for a surface mount chip of this type; the prospective buyer could theoretically solder this chip into a project, though finding datasheets would probably require a crystal ball and acts of sorcery. This item will be carefully packed to protect the chip's delicate leads.
