Listing is for one lot - 5 - 3M DC 600A Data Cartridges, QIC (Quarter-Inch Cartridge) tapes HP, DEC, IBM 60MB.

This lot of 5 data cassette cartridges are used & they say backup on some (see pics). However, I did not test these, so I have no idea if they are what they say they are.

These tapes were widely used with workstation and mainframe computers in the 1980s and early 1990s, including:

IBM Systems: Used with the IBM 6157 Streaming Tape Drive and certain AS-400 or PS/2 models.
DEC (Digital Equipment Corp): Frequently used with VAX/VMS systems and TK25 drives.
HP (Hewlett-Packard): Used in HP 914x series cartridge drives.
UNIX Workstations: Popular for data storage on early Sun Microsystems or other RISC-based workstations.
PC Backup Drives: Compatible with internal and external QIC-24 tape drives from brands like Wangtek, Tandberg, and Archive.
Storage Capacity: This specific tape holds 60 Mbytes of data.
Tape Length: It contains 620 feet (approximately 189 meters) of 1/4-inch magnetic tape.
Recording Format: It primarily follows the QIC-24 standard, which was the first industry standard that allowed these tapes to be swapped between different manufacturers' drives....

There are scuffs, scratches, discoloration, rust, dust, & signs of age.

Sold as not working - parts / repair / project. No other testing done.
