ROLAND SCB-55 MIDI daughterboard / Waveblaster compatible Revision 1 - Extremely rare MIDI daughterboard wavetable (similar to Creative Waveblaster, Yamaha DB50XG, Roland SCD-10 or SCD-15...) This rev 1 brings you SC-55 MK2 in the daughterboard form factor. Very good condition, fully tested ! It's probably the best daughterboard compatible with the SB16. Fully compatible with DOS and Windows 3.x / 95 / 98 Requires an ISA or PCI sound card with Waveblaster MIDI Connector (Sound Blaster 16, Yamaha and many other sound cards from the mid to late 90s). Compatible with MIDI, GM (General MIDI) and Roland GS. Tested successfully on my vintage PC with a Creative Soundblaster 16. This card is now very rare and virtually impossible to find. This sale includes the Roland card only. Caution when installing the card : this is a very sensitive device: - Install it on the sound card when the PC is powered-off and remove first the sound card from your PC to have a good visual point of view on the assembly - Ensure (and recheck) that all the pins are properly aligned and that there is not an "offset" in a row or column. It could fry the card instantaneously by sending the wrong voltages on the chips.
